We recently hosted our first Flashday at Studio Coração, our cozy tattoo shop nestled in Vila do Bispo, between Lagos and Sagres. The idea was sparked by my colleague, Chloe (known as @discowitch_tattoo), who was inspired to bring something truly unique to the Algarve tattoo scene. You can check out her beautiful work here.
For the event, we prepared a collection of individual designs, offered at a special price just for the day. The designs ranged from tiny handpoke and fine line tattoos to bold, graphic styles. Each piece was inspired by the beauty of Mother Nature, and the endless ideas that Portugal and the Algarve have to offer.
To set the mood, we had bottles of wine, homemade chocolate cake, sandwiches, and a variety of snacks—all paired with great music. We welcomed many visitors, and some of our guests chose from our flash designs. It's always a pleasure when people pick our original creations over something from Pinterest.
The tattooing kicked off at 3 pm and continued late into the evening, making it an overall warm and cozy experience. Special thanks to Chloe for her motivation in organizing this event, and to all our guests who made it such a memorable day.
